# Klickl / KPay Business Preparation Guide

Version: 8 November 2026. This is a preparation guide for a business conversation, not the provider’s complete KYB checklist, an onboarding approval, a service commitment or legal advice. Confirm the required documents with the actual provider and submit sensitive information only through an approved secure channel.

## Describe the entity and business

Prepare basic information on incorporation, actual operations, business model and authorised representatives. Explain the relationship between mainland China entities, overseas subsidiaries and ultimate controllers. Offshore incorporation alone does not establish eligibility.

Describe the customer collections and supplier or service-provider payments you need. Identify transaction, collection, account and settlement currencies separately, together with payout markets and indicative monthly volumes or transaction ranges. Start with a non-sensitive summary. Do not upload registration documents, identity documents, bank statements or beneficial-owner records to a public marketing page.

## Prepare evidence through a secure channel

The actual provider may request incorporation records, ownership and ultimate beneficial-owner information, director or representative authority, operating addresses and business evidence. Genuine trade activity may require contracts, invoices, orders, shipping or fulfilment evidence. Source-of-funds, payment-purpose and counterparty information may also be needed. Requirements depend on the provider, risk review and product; these examples are not a substitute for the official checklist.

DTC or digital merchants can also prepare their website, product descriptions, refund policy, delivery or fulfilment information and indicative card-payment markets. This may help the provider assess merchant and acquiring risk; it does not guarantee industry acceptance.

## Confirm the commercial arrangement

Request written confirmation of the contracting entity, account-opening institution, funds holder, FX and payment providers, and the complete funds flow. Confirm account structure and applicable safeguards rather than treating account capabilities or FINTRAC registration as a bank-deposit guarantee.

Pricing should address collection and payout fees, FX quote basis and spread, third-party charges, minimum charges, limits, cut-off times and settlement schedules. Card acquiring also requires refund, chargeback and reserve terms, including any freeze, retention or release conditions. No uniform fees or arrival times are promised on the website.

## Mainland China-related requirements

Fiat payments, RMB settlement and FX involving mainland China require confirmation of the actual provider’s authorisation, lawful service scope and supporting documents. Offshore incorporation or registration is not a substitute. This guide does not provide a mainland China digital-asset or stablecoin application pathway. Digital-asset arrangements must not be used to bypass payment or FX requirements.

Any eligible overseas digital-asset service needs separate review of the entity, actual operations, control structure and applicable laws. A customer’s own declaration is not a substitute for provider review.
